An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held annually by US Youth Soccer, US Soccer Federation and Indiana Soccer as required by their by-laws. Representatives from Indiana Youth Soccer (usually the President, Executive Director or their designate) attend the US Youth Soccer and US Soccer Federation AGM's each year.

The Indiana Soccer membership is encouraged to attend the Indiana Soccer AGM, generally held within the first 3 months of each calendar year. Notice of the particular time and place of the Indiana Soccer Annual General Meeting will be sent to each club president by mail at least 30 days prior to the event.

In 2010, the Indiana Soccer Annual General Meeting was held on January 30th at 2pm at the
Renaissance North Hotel in Carmel, Indiana.
 
Each member club receives votes according to the player count of the club from the previous seasonal year. The president of each club is authorized to vote for their individual club and if that person cannot be in attendance, he may assign his vote to another club board member.
 
Club voting strength is as follows: 2009 AGM & Workshops

  • 0 -  250 players        1 vote      
  • 250 -  500 players    2 votes       
  • 500 -  750 players    3 votes      
  • 750 -1000 players    4 votes      
  • over  1000 players    5 votes
   
 


Saturday workshops and Sunday events were also held in conjunction with the Indiana Soccer Annual General Meeting each year. These workshops are each usually one hour in length, and topics vary according to the needs and interests of the membership. Workshops have been held on State Cups, recreational play, Soccer Across America, registration procedures, ODP, coaching education, sport psychology, competitive league play, tournament hosting, club and field development, health and safety issues, grants and 501(c)3 tax status preparation to list a few. Important Indiana Soccer by-law changes are also discussed in these meetings to allow the clubs more opportunities to ask questions and understand the need for the change.

Indiana  Soccer also invited all member club Presidents to join together at the President's Luncheon .  For 2010, this Luncheon included Director's of Coaching from the member clubs. 

The AGM weekend is always "topped off" by the Indiana Soccer Awards Dinner and Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame Induction. This banquet allows Indiana Soccer to honor individual people in the membership that deserve special recognition. Over 375 people attended this year's Banquet to honor the candidates and the Hall of Fame Inductee, Dan Kapsalis.
