Save the date: June 2nd and 3rd, 2018:

Indiana Soccer is proud and honored to announce that the Indiana Soccer 2018 Memorial Cup will memorialize and honor those adults in our community that significantly contributed to the growth and vitality of soccer in Indiana during their lifetimes.  This includes coaches, administrator, managers, referees, and players.

The Indiana Memorial Cup was established in 2015 to honor and memorialize the children of the Indiana Soccer Family that have passed away.  The net proceeds generated by this tournament are used for the expressed purpose of providing access to “the beautiful game” to those players who currently do not have access.  Futsal court projects have been funded with portions of these proceeds in Indianapolis, Ft Wayne – scheduled for spring of 2018, and others around the state of Indiana are being planned.  Futsal courts are a wonderful legacy to those no longer with us; supporting those that most need our assistance.

Member clubs are being entrusted as the gatekeepers of those adults whose club contributions elevate the individual’s service as worthy of a place on the Memorial Cup Honoree list.  Once the board of a member club selects an honoree, Indiana Soccer requests that the club president or board’s assigned representative, contact Rick Fiege  rwfiege1@aol.com  or Sarah Cantwell sarah@soccerindiana.org, with information on the individual.  Stories and pictures are most welcome.   Additional information on this effort will be forthcoming.

The 2018 Memorial Cup will feature fun and play for Indiana Soccer / US Youth Soccer member teams and players on June 2-3, 2018 at Grand Park in Westfield IN.  We enthusiastically invite everyone to come and participate.  Additional information can be viewed at Indiana Memorial Cup
