Indiana Soccer Concluded the 2018 State, Presidents and Challenge Cup, Along with the Memorial Cup


The 2018 Finals Weekend of the State, Presidents, and Challenge Cup for all ages took place this past weekend (June 1-3) at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.  A total of 350 teams - boys and girls competed for the championship.  For the State and Presidents Cups, teams in the categories 13U-19U played to earn a spot in the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional, which will be played on June 22-27 at Grand Park as well.

Indiana Soccer is once again was excited to see great teams and players around the state coming together to a single locations to compete for the crown at a state level and move on to the next level.

"Once again, it was an honor to host the 2018 Indiana Soccer Cups for the members.  Indiana Soccer member clubs continue to bring their best performances to finals,” director of cups Angel Hall, stated.  “This year we had a record number of games go into overtime and several go to the penalty kick spots to determine champions.  Thank you to 590 teams that began the journey in pursuit of a cup title.  Congratulations to the 46 teams who were crowned Champions!" Hall, concluded.

2018 State, Presidents and Challenge Cup Final Results  

Along the competitive cups, Indiana Soccer hosted once again the Memorial Cup, which brought hundreds of boys and girls 10U teams.  The memorial cup was created to honor and remember those players and referees that passed away before turning 21 years old.

As part of this recognition, US Youth Soccer sponsor Target, attended the event with its United Cup Village in which hundreds of children participated.
