REFEREES FOR ADULT COMPETITIONS
(Notes for Referees about Indiana Adult Soccer)
Please see the list of affiliated leagues above before considering assigning for or accepting assignments from any league.
We will enforce the "no pass - no play" rule. Remember, if you allow unregistered players in the game it is no longer considered sanctioned.
There are 2 legal player passes in use for 2012-2013. There is the "online" pass with integral picture used by all leagues except NWI Old Boys Leauge . This is a pass specific to only the Northwest Old Boys League. Everyone else uses the state generated pass with the picture on the front and the waiver statement on the back. Illegal copies are usually immediately apparent. Make sure you get a sample of a real card from your assignor.
If you encounter what you believe are illegal copies of player passes, do not seize the card, unless it's laughably obvious. Allow the player to play and later notify any member of the State Board either by phone or e-mail that you believe you have seen copied passes.
