Ever notice the difference between extraordinary and ordinary is just that little "extra"? Do you know someone who gives that little extra to everything they do? Is there someone in your club who is making a difference to your kids, your club or your district? Indiana Soccer wishes to recognize those individuals who go above and beyond in the time and talent they give to the game.
Each year, Indiana Soccer honors individuals who are involved in youth soccer throughout Indiana by giving awards in a variety of categories to competitive and also recreational coaches in both boys and girls categories; director of coaching of the year, manager of the year; Administrator of the Year; Referee of the Year and Young Male and Female Referee of the Year; Tournament of the Year; Website of the Year and one special award for the Good of Soccer.
The 2012-13 Awards Dinner Celebration was held on Saturday evening, January 19, 2013 at 7pm at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis.
Indiana's own and US Olympic team member LAUREN CHENEY was the keynote speaker for the evening.
The banquet this year was held in conjunction with the US Youth Soccer and NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Convention held January 16-20, 2013 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. This event is the largest of its kind in the United States and this year was no exception. Reports are that this year's event had the largest attendance ever. Indiana Soccer offered a special weekend package at a special reduced price for all of our members. This package included a ticket to the 2013 Awards Banquet as well.
Over 425 people attended this 2013 sold out event and celebrated a year of success within the Indiana Soccer community. A list of the 2012 Finalists and Winners of the Indiana Soccer Awards can be found here. Congratulations to all the finalists and award winners!

Each year, thousands of people give their time and talents to make youth soccer possible in Indiana. Most volunteer their time without thought or need of recognition, but Indiana Soccer believes that recognizing these special individuals is a wonderful way of saying thank you.
