There have been 27 goal related deaths in the US related to unanchored goals. The Indiana Soccer Family has been very fortunate not have a serious goal/child incident. Five of the top fifteen insurance claims known to US Youth Soccer’s risk management committee are goal related; 3 of which are child fatalities.
Please insist and verify regularly that all goals are securely anchored. We don’t EVER want Indiana to suffer through such a preventable tragedy.
