THE OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ANNOUNCES TWO NEW PROGRAMS
The Indiana Olympic Development Program is pleased to announce the start of two new programs for the 2011-2012-program year.
The first is “ODP 2001: An Introduction to the Olympic Development Program”. The new program is designed to be an introduction for young players born in the year 2001 into the ODP System and training environment that they will encounter in future years. “ODP 2001” will be conducted around the state in the North, Central, and South Regions in late fall and early spring, as well as one come together event in June. This is purely a developmental age group with the opportunity to train and play with the best players in one’s age group as well as receive quality instruction from Nationally Licensed Coaches. Since this is an introduction into the process no State Team will be formed, no outside competition will occur, and this group will not travel to Regional Camp. Players born in 2001 will begin this process and attend Region Camp in 2012-2013. Learn More
The second new program is “Open High School Evaluation”. The Indiana Olympic Development Program would like to extend an invitation to all high school age players born in 1997, 1996, and 1995 to attend an open evaluation period for consideration to the State Pool in their respective age group. The open evaluation period will occur on the following two State Pool Training dates: Oct. 30 and Nov. 20, 2011 at Lawrence Park located on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The cost to participate in this evaluation period is a one-time fee of $40.00 which includes both training dates as well as a distinct numbered T-Shirt for each player for identification purposes. Players may attend one or both dates for consideration for the State Pool. Learn More
