INDIANA UNITED HOSTS HAMMER FC AT THE INDIANA STATE CUP

June 10, 2011 (Indianapolis, IN) -- Indiana United hosts Hammer FC at Lawrence Park during the Indiana State Cup Finals on Friday June 10th at 7:30pm. Indiana United competes in the Midwest Conference, a part of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the third consecutive year. The team plays a twelve-game conference season followed by a season end tournament. 

The Indiana United team coached by Brett McIntosh and Ralph Richards are excited about the talent of players and feel the mixture of both youth and experience will provide for an exciting and successful season.

“This is a very talented 2011 Indiana United WPSL team,” said Coach Richards. “The quality of college players mixed with the experience of the returning players and the exuberance of the youth players will certainly make for a fun and exciting season. We hope to provide a style of soccer that is fun for the fans to watch showcasing some quality skills in an all-around team performance.”

Indiana United team will host 6 games this summer at various venues in the greater Indianapolis area including Park Tudor High School, Lawrence Park, and Zionsville High School.  Admission is free to all home games.  Click here for a full schedule.
