USASA 2013 NATIONAL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP IN OVERLAND PARK

This year the USASA’s National Women’s Championship will be held at the top rated, Overland Park Soccer Complex in Overland Park, Kan. July 25 through July 30.

The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) championship is the premier women’s competition in the United States inviting all of the best women athletes in the country to showcase their skills at one of the best soccer complexes in the nation. The Overland Park was named the top soccer city in the United States and the complex is considered the only one of its kind by Liveabiliy.com. It consists of 12 lighted, synthetic fields, scoreboards, 1,100 square feet of meeting space, and state of the art facilities.

“We've worked hard to create leagues that challenge all levels of players, especially the more talented players. Having tournaments like the USASA Women's National Championships gives those players something extra to look forward to and work towards.” Vice President of Central Indiana Women’s Soccer League, Jody Toth said.

The tournament will bring together the nation’s most talented women athletes to compete for the championship title and play the game they love. “Women can stay fit by working out and running, but it’s the competing against a worthy opponent that really keeps one sharp. Soccer keeps the mind and body sharp. Soccer keeps women
young." Toth said.

The National Women’s Championship is open to women at the amateur, open, over 30 and under 23 levels. Bracketing will be determined after all registrations are submitted.   There is a minimum of four teams and maximum of 16 teams per division. Applications are available online.

The Overland Park Soccer Complex will also host the annual US Youth Soccer National Championship again in 2013 with the top 72 youth teams in the country. The fields will showcase champions of all kinds in the 2013 season.
