Greenfield Area Soccer Club is seeking a club treasurer who is willing and able to provide leadership in the financial life of our organization. A person of integrity and with an aptitude for finance. This is a great way to give back to the community, gain professional experience, encourage civic responsibility, and make a difference in the lives of our youth.
Greenfield Area Soccer Club has been a youth development organization in Hancock County since 1992 and is going strong. The club is run by volunteer board members who want to make a positive impact in their local community.
The financial leadership requires a combination of skills and characteristics. The treasurer we are looking for can balances these responsibilities.
Knowledge – Thorough understanding of the financial reports. It helps to have some financial background, which may require some supplemental training in nonprofit financial terminology and requirements.
Communications – Able to translate financial information and financial concepts for the board.
Planning – Partner with the staff leadership to develop a useful budget.
Strategy – Great treasurers go beyond annual budgets, audits and financial reports to bring financial leadership to the organization. Great treasurers look down the road to find the financial options and decisions needed for longer term goals and initiate discussions to connect finance and mission.

South Central Soccer Academy - General manager (Posted 1-14-2019)
South Central Soccer Academy (www.scsaindy.com) is seeking a dynamic leader for its General Manager (GM) position. SCSA, based on private 40-acre fields that include indoor training facilities, serves players in a rapidly growing area south of Indianapolis with programming that spans from recreational to highly competitive travel soccer. In partnership with the Director of Coaching, the GM is one of two leaders reporting directly to the SCSA Board of Directors. The GM is a servant leader who puts the players first and has the highest level of responsibility for the smooth operation of the club. The GM ultimately represents the club within the community. The GM ensures proper management of club operations, growth, financial stability, and brand development. The GM defines the long-term business strategy and sets related goals to guide the continuous improvement program. The GM supports the DOC and collaborates as a peer on player-centered Program Development.

Administrators, full time or nearly full time, immediate start.
USA of Indiana Director of Coaching Community Recreation, teach coaches, improve Rec and Soccer Select programs, part time.
USA of Indiana Hendricks Director of Coaching, build Hendricks County Rec, Soccer Select, and Travel programs, part time.
Experienced Travel Coaches to help continue to improve the travel soccer experience, part time. DOC's seek additional coaches and assistant Directors. Discuss with USA of Indiana Soccer Director Will Pfaffenberger.

Over most of the Club's 40-year history this work was completed by volunteers. Now paid staff prepares mission critical, time sensitive work to be sure volunteers can easily volunteer, show up, and be productive. Almost all that needs to be done for your child to step onto a safe and prepared field with goals, nets, anchors in a nice uniform with a back ground checked coach is done by volunteers like you.
