Indiana Soccer Association is proud to have two teams participating in the US Youth Soccer’s National League this 2020-2021 season. They are, ECU 05 Maroon in the boys’ 16U division and Indy Premier 03G Elite I in the girls’ 18U division. This past weekend, Feb. 26-Mar. 1, Indy Premier 03G Elite I competed in the National League Playoff in Greensboro, NC. By virtue of winning their playgroup, they have qualified for the 2021 USYS National Championships.
Indy Premier finished first in their playgroup with 7 points from the following results:
- Saturday, Feb. 27 – 1-0 - win vs CUP 03 NL [2nd place, 6 pts] (goal scorer – Lydia Self)
- Sunday, Feb. 28 – 2-2 - draw vs All-In FC 03G NL Elite [3rd place, 4 pts] (goal scorers – Jenna Lang, Lexi Fraley)
- Monday, Mar. 1 – 8-0 - win vs FC Dallas 03G West Red [4th place, 0 pts] (goal scorers – Jenna Lang [4], Sarah Foulk [2], Lydia Self, Sukhmani Shergill)
The players who participated this weekend are: Emily Ellis, Sarah Foulk, Lexi Fraley, Mollie Hill, Brooke Hines, Ashlynn Hoover, Isabella Imes, Paige Landers, Jenna “Bobbie” Lang, Brianna Linton, Kelsi McLaughlin, Jaci Merchant, Harper Ring, Lydia Self, Sukhmani Shergill, Cheyenne Trefry.
They are coached by Kenrick Ramirez.
