Eric Hench Is Selected As The Indiana Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA)

Indiana Soccer announces that Eric Hench has been selected as the Indiana Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA).

Eric Hench is a Regional Referee in the U.S. Soccer Referee Program.  He served as Indiana’s State Director of Instruction for the last two years.  He played the game for 45 years and returned to refereeing 9 years ago after having been introduced to refereeing during his youth.

Hench recently celebrated his 26th anniversary with his wife Kathy and is the proud father of two, Alycia (24) and Brendan (21).  "Eric has experience, passion, talent, and possesses a commitment to excellence that will produce good things for the referee community", stated Dave Guthrie, Indiana Soccer’s Executive Director.

Guthrie further commented that Hench will assume his responsibilities immediately and that he is excited about a number of things Eric and Tony Crush, Indiana’s interim SRA are planning that will benefit the Indiana referee family.
