Mick Lyons - Class of 2019

Mick was instrumental in the success of both the University of Evansville men's and womens's soccer programs - University of Evansville

• First 3-time Most Valuable Player for the men (1985 - 87)
• 1987 NSCAA 2nd Team All-American
• Mideast All-Region player in each of his three seasons at UE, was an All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference player in 1987
• Became an assistant coach for the men in 1991 before taking over as the first women's coach in Purple Aces history.
• Held that position until 2001; led the Aces to nine MVC titles and three NCAA Tournament appearances
• Earned four Coach of the Year awards (1994 - Great Midwest, 1996, 97, and 2000 Missouri Valley Conference)
