Indiana Development Program District Training Kicks-Off At Three Training Sites

The Indiana Development Program kicked off its training sessions this past Friday, July 30th.  There were 3 training sites throughout the weekend including Noblesville, Evansville, and Merrillville.  Each site had between 28-45 players in attendance.

IDP is very grateful for the community support at each of the sites throughout the state where the sessions are held. Hoosier FC, Newburgh Youth Soccer, Merrillville High School, USAi, Batesville Soccer, Fort Wayne Sports Club, Clark County Soccer Association, and Elkhart Flames have all been instrumental in helping us to acquire field space for each of our sessions.

IDP District Training is a program for non-high school players born between 2007-2011. Any soccer player in the specified age range is welcome to attend, but there are limited spots, and everyone must be registered in order to attendIDP District training is a developmental training session to provide players an opportunity to get more touches on the ball as well as to train with players they may not necessarily normally train with. It is also an introduction to our Olympic Development Program (aka ODP).

If you want to find out more about the program, you can find information on the IDP District Training website page: https://www.soccerindiana.org/idp/indiana-odp-district-training/

You can also contact IDP Administrator Joy Carter or IDP Director, Todd Sheely with further questions.
