We are excited to announce that Indiana ODP 2011/12 Girls are blowing away the other age groups for the week of 2/12/23!

Indiana ODP is excited to inform you that our players ranked first in leaderboards in the total number of hours logged onto Techne, an app based program designed to motivate players, build strong training habits, and facilitate a lasting love for soccer.

"A big shoutout to all of you using the Techne App. Indiana was the number 1 ODP program for January. Thank you as well to the clubs who are using the app and encouraging their players to use it for their development", stated Techne.
Pretty impressive streak by one of our 2007 boys Joe Luther. That is over 3 years straight. Here is what Joe had to say about Techne.
“I started using Techne right before everything shut down because of Covid. I needed to work on my technical skills to keep up with everyone else, and it was a way I could work on them by myself during the pandemic.
I love that it keeps a streak and reminds you to train every day. It keeps me motivated and gives me a reason to do some technical work every day. I also like how they have a variety of different exercises that have specific instructions and videos to go with them, so it does not feel like I am doing anything wrong and not getting any benefit from it.”

Over 900 hours by Indiana ODP players for January. Here is what our leader Bella C had to say about Techne:
“I use it because it makes my technical game better, and it is easy to do at home or anywhere else that I go. Also, with all the different drills on Techne it helps me with all parts of my game.
My favorite part is Nimble Feet, because it helps me improve my footwork and being more creative with the ball. I also love competing against players from all the different clubs.”

“I enjoy seeing the players competing with one another to make a leaderboard. In addition, having certain age groups compete against one another is a fantastic way for our players to see how each other is doing. The ease of the app for our staff to assign tasks for our groups is also an important thing to help the coaches and players stay connected.” - Todd Sheely ODP Director
