Westfield, IN - July 23, 2020 - Indiana Soccer has become the first state association as part of American Youth Soccer Cooperative for Esports (AYCE), to sign an agreement with Rezzil, a market leader in virtual reality training and cognitive development. Beginning today, Indiana Soccer players have access to Rezzil’s training VR platform, which runs a series of enhanced drills for players to interact with a virtual ball using natural movement patterns.
With thousands of "natural movement" data points, the VR training helps create an analytical assessment of a player's wellness, cognitive capabilities, and skill level. Multiple environments can be used to simulate extreme game pressure simulation scenarios. In addition, Indiana Soccer will be using the analytics platform GYO Score, created by Harena Data, so that all Soccer players can integrate high-level analytics to perfect their skills. The aggregation of a Rezzil score and a GYO Score provides the first of its kind, comprehensive, objective assessment of a player’s level of development/performance.
The GYO Score platform seeks to support gamers and esports at all levels. With its analytics tools, team management, player profile, and league tool systems, GYO supports gamers and esports-enthusiasts of all competition levels to pursue their dream of esports stardom and community building. To date, GYO Score has helped facilitate more than 200 esports scholarship offers since it launched in September 2019.
