Indiana Soccer Hosts Rene Meulensteen & The National Technical Championships At Grand Park

Wednesday, December 18th, 2019: Last week Indiana Soccer, in collaboration with Erwin van Elst, president of “The Meulensteen Method” and Rene’ Meulensteen, hosted the National Technical Championships.  The players in attendance, earned their invitations by qualifying at other Meulensteen Method events.  It would be hard to overstate how impressed I was with the individual technical development of each of the attendees.  They were confident on the ball, technically advanced, understood when to use their technique regardless of what pressure they experienced on the pitch.  I will not be surprised when the top players from the US are identified ten years from now; to learn that a number of them were trained under the Meulensteen method and participated in Meulensteen’s National Technical Championship.

Rene’s coaching philosophy, technical development method and overall approach to developing a complete player is highly successful. Some of the best players in the world will attest to their development under Rene’.  I find Rene’ possesses the rare quality of genius when it comes to coaching players.  Please allow me to strongly request that players find a coach who has completed Rene’s 100, 200 and 300 level coaching courses.  Players who do, will enjoy a successful and productive soccer development experience.
