Indiana Soccer Olympic Development Program Announces US Youth Soccer ODP Partnership with MLS

Indiana Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) is excited to announce a collaboration between US Youth Soccer ODP and Major League Soccer (MLS). This collaboration will include a nationwide scouting network as well as include an alliance with national and all state association ODP programs.

[NEW Invitation Only Events] There will be no cost for players from various state associations that are invited to attend certain regional or national events. There may be charges for airfare, housing and food, but players will train and participate in these invitation-only events free of charge.

This new ODP/MLS partnership will bring an opportunity for some state ODP players to participate in high-level competition as well as receiving high-level coaching. Invited players that participate in these events, will have an pportunity to be scouted for future regional and national events. These events will also be conducted during college recruiting windows –making it conducive for college coaches to attend.

The Indiana Soccer Olympic Development Program is excited about this collaboration between US Youth Soccer/Indiana’s Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and Major League Soccer. Director Todd Sheely reiterates: “We see this as a tremendous opportunity for ODP participants. This opportunity complements the work being done by club, high school or others
investing in a player's development. Our state ODP program will continue work to help all players achieve their highest level of aspiration.”
