Welcome to 2021 and a new season for video gameplay.

Indiana Soccer, its administration, and its coaches are excited to announce the launch of the Indiana Soccer Gamer Club that promotes community play and invites players to meet and compete in their favorite video games online.  The Indiana Soccer Gamer Club this year will feature age divisions and verified players so parents can be assured their children are playing with peers their age in a safe and protective environment.

We are kicking off the 2021 season with different game titles selected for structured competitive play as well as some fun, social play. This is available to all players registered with Indiana Soccer clubs or those who wish to register directly with Indiana (nonmembers). This is an easy way to get kids to safely connect, create friendships, and socialize with one another in a safe digital space. They are already playing video games - so why not sign them up for some friendly competition in a secure environment? 

The player, upon registration, will identify which club they are representing when they register and will be grouped with other players from their club as well as players from other Indiana Soccer clubs or those directly with the association. 

The Indiana Soccer Gamer Club will open registration today! Players will be able to compete in various play events in order to make themselves comfortable with the platform as well as get to know the members in the community. The first competition will have players on the digital grass for some FIFA 21! 

All players will be divided by age and console type for FIFA ‘21 and other game titles. If you play on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X, you will be matched against a player also using an Xbox One or Xbox Series X.  If you play on a Playstation 4 or Playstation 5, you will be matched against a compatible and age appropriate opponent also using a Playstation 4 or Playstation 5. If you play on a Switch, you will be matched against an opponent also using a Switch.

All players will be divided by age for Rocket League since it has crossplay capabilities. This means that kids with PCs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switches can play with each other as long as they own a copy of the video game. This is one of the few games capable of cross-play.
