Ashlyn Anderson (Indy Premier SC/Florida State; Carmel, IN) was named today among the 21 players named to the US U-17 roster by head coach Katie Schoepfer for the 2025 Concacaf Under-17 Women’s Qualifiers, which will be played from March 31-April 6 in Trinidad & Tobago.
The USA will face host Trinidad & Tobago (on March 31, Honduras (on April 2) and El Salvador (on April 5) in Group C at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
The winner of each of Concacaf’s three groups and the best second-place team will qualify for the Under-17 Women’s World Cup, set for Oct. 17-Nov. 8 in Morocco. The next five editions of what is now an annual tournament will be held in Morocco.
Anderson was previously called up to participate in the combined U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team and U.S. Under-16 Girls’ National Team training camps, which will come together for concurrent training camps running from Jan. 26-Feb. 2 at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center located south of San Diego. Concacaf qualifying will be held in late March and the World Cup, the beginning of the annual staging of this tournament, will be held from Oct. 17 to Nov. 8 in Morocco, which will host the next five editions of the competition.
Anderson is the 6th Hoosier called up in the past 6 months to participate nationally.
