Zionsville Youth Soccer Association Travel Becomes Union FC Indy
June 1, 2025: The Zionsville Youth Soccer Association (ZYSA) travel program has recently undergone a complete rebranding and name change. They are now known as Union FC Indy.
ZYSA rec program will still operate under the ZYSA banner. “We are excited about the new brand and providing a broader opportunity for competitive players on the NW side of Indianapolis.” — Rob Klatte, Sporting Director and Co-Director of Junior Travel.
Unity Strikers FC – New Club
June 3, 2025: A new club in Evansville was recently approved for membership. The Unity Strikers FC (previously known as the Pocket City Spiders playing as a member of the Evansville Youth Soccer League) have been granted their independent membership. “We are excited to be joining the Indiana Soccer family as direct members!” – Felicia Matthews, President.


Hurricane Soccer Club Merges With Fort Wayne Sport Club To become FWSC North
June 4, 2025: Hurricane Soccer Club has merged with Fort Wayne Sport Club (FWSC) and will be known as FWSC North. “The policies, concepts, and cultures of both clubs are aligned. This has been a work in progress for several years. Now seemed like the perfect time to merge.” Jack Ryan – President, Hurricane Soccer Club. “We are happy to continue keeping soccer available and accessible on the north side of Fort Wayne with this merger.” Jim Laborde – Director of Coaching, FWSC.
The Greater Lafayette Regional Soccer Alliance, (GLRSA) Returns To Indiana Soccer.
June 17, 2025: Boilers FC has been the travel club portion of Greater Lafayette Regional Soccer Alliance (GLRSA) for many years. The whole GLRSA family will be returning to Indiana Soccer this fall as the club brings back the recreational programming to Indiana Soccer. “This partnership represents an exciting step forward for our organization,” said David Ungaro, President of GLRSA and Boilers FC. “Joining Indiana Soccer gives our players, families, and coaches greater access to statewide resources and opportunities while maintaining the strong community values we’ve always prioritized.”
