Risk Management Star Resources |

All clubs and leagues who serve Indiana Soccer youth members are required to comply with the Safe Sports Act which is a federal law. Completion of compliance with this federal law also qualifies as one of the necessary components to earn your club RISK MANAGEMENT star.

As part of the risk management plan, Indiana Soccer REQUIRES that all adults having significant contact with club players or club funds must have a current background check performed by and on file with the Indiana Soccer State Office. Background checks are run daily through Backgroundchecks.com on information provided by each adult on a disclosure form.

As of August 13, 2018, Indiana Soccer is now requiring that all Club and League Personnel complete the Concussion Awareness/CDC Heads Up Concussion Course. This course can be taken from a Gotsoccer coach or team official account. Compliance will be a necessary component for a club or league to earn the Risk Management Star.
