Rushville, IN - Saturday, September 28th, 2019: Indiana Futsal is excited to announce the official Grand Opening of another futsal court this time in Rushville, Indiana. The turn out for the Futsal Court Grand opening ceremony was incredible. More than 250 people show up throughout the event including folks from Rushville, Greenfield, Shelbyville, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Carmel, Plainfield, and Cincinatti. The weather was great and also in attendance was the Mayor of Rushville and a lot of families. The people that came into the community also took the time to visit local establishments and participated in community events to make this day successful. Thank you to the City of Rushville and all the volunteers that made this project a success for your support. Thank you to everyone who came to the event.
We had the privilege of presenting our proposal to the wonderful women of the Circle Grant today. We were awarded $15,000 to go towards the new Futsal court that will be located at South Memorial Park, just north of the basketball courts. Thank you so much to Justin Becht, and Austin Bolyard for your help in presenting this, and helping us to earn this grant. Stay tuned Rushville! We are extremely excited to start construction on this!
This Saturday, October 26th join Rushville Futsal for the first Futsal Tournament on the new Rushville Futsal Court! This is a community event open to anyone to attend! There will be music, activities and Ollie's Family BBQ Food Truck!
This tournament will be hosted on two different days for two different age groups due to number of teams interested in participating!
Saturday Oct. 26th: ADULTS will play with games starting at 9:30am
Sunday Oct. 27th: YOUTH (U12/U14) will play with games starting at 12:00pm.
