Southern Indiana United & ZYSA Host Grassroots Licensing Clinic

The Indiana Soccer Association Coaching Education Program had a busy weekend the final two days in March.  US Soccer Grassroots License Courses (7v7 and 11v11) hosted in Jeffersonville, IN by Southern Indiana United and CCSA at the Woehrle Athletic Complex allowed 29 youth caches earn their GR licenses.  On Sunday, 44 additional coaches earned their 9v9and 11v11 GR licenses at courses hosted by the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association.

Thus, despite some less than desirable weather conditions over the weekend, 73 youth coaches expanded their coaching knowledge by learning more about the Play-Practice-Play methodology.  Special thanks go out to Dutch Vigar, Coaching Director at Southern Indiana United, Michael Vejar at Clark County Soccer Association and Jonathan McClure, ZYSA Academy and Girls' Director of Player & Staff Development for opening up their facilities and hosting these courses for the enrichment of their coaches.
