How much does it cost to become a referee?
2026 New Referees will pay $55.00 for the new referee course and an additional $20.00 for a US Soccer Surcharge. Total = $75.00*
*There will be additional fees to purchase uniforms and gear.
2026 Recertifying Referees will pay a $70.00 course fee and an additional $20.00 for a US Soccer Surcharge. Total = $90.00
Are there any new referee courses near me?
You must complete the online portion before attending the on-field experience. The Indiana Soccer Referee Association (ISRA) is always adding new courses for the on-field portion of the licensing process. This is the list as of Nov. 16, 2025 of the upcoming on-field experience courses. To find the most complete and up to date list, you will need to log in to the US Soccer Learning Center.
