District Training

Player Development Camps

The mission of the Indiana Soccer Player Development Camps is to offer professional training for all layers at any skill level designed in a fun but challenging age appropriate environment aimed at player development.  The goals are to expose each player to different coaching styles, mixed with players from different areas, and to raise the overall ability level and general soccer awareness of each individual player.  Players will be encouraged to have fun in the game, challenge themselves in positive training environments and learn to love the game of soccer!

The Player Development Program will be conducted by a professional coaching staff consisting of nationally licensed coaches. The philosophy of “the game is the best teacher” will be implemented through each Player Development Program session.  Each session will focus on the proper technique to perform each skill combined with the tactical aspects and physical aspects of the game while blending the proper mental approach to achieving the desired level.  We believe that players improve from learning the proper skills, being challenged through the game, and through positive encouragement, hard work, and determination.  Players will also have the opportunity to develop their technical skills in small group play and game scenarios.  The coaching staff will insure the camps create a fun and challenging environment that also builds the confidence of each player to improve their skills and advance their individual game.

District Training

Indiana Soccer and Indiana Development Program, (IDP) is pleased to announce the return of District Training. District Training will be for players that do not play high school soccer and that are the following birth years: 2011 (NON HS), 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Starting July 2025 the following sites have been identified as areas where IDP will have sessions: Columbus, Fort Wayne, Noblesville, Evansville, Bloomington, Lafayette, and Mt. Vernon. Each session will run an hour and fifteen minutes. These sessions will provide an opportunity for players who are considering giving IDP/ODP a try, but distance to Grand Park is an issue. Players who are selected as part of the Indiana State Pool will still have training at Grand Park as this has been the practice for the last few years. However, all players (State Pool and others) are welcome to join district training, but you must register for the session(s) you want to attend. These sessions are geared more toward field players. If you are interested in GK trainings please go here for more information on our winter GK camp.

If you registered for the wrong location or date, please DO NOT register again instead contact Georgi Emenhiser ASAP at georgi.emenhiser@soccerindiana.org for assistance.

District Training is $25/session. You must register for each date you wish to attend. Players are welcome to attend any and all sessions that they choose. No walk-ups will be allowed. TRAINING SESSION NUMBERS ARE LIMITED, SO PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP

VERY IMPORTANT: When registering, please do not create a new account (unless you do not play for an Indiana Soccer member club).  Every player that is in one of Indiana Soccer’s member clubs has a GotSport account. You can do a password look-up if you do not remember your information for GotSport. If you have questions, please contact Georgi Emenhiser at georgi.emenhiser@soccerindiana.org

NOTE: Just because a training session is at a specific “club’s” fields does not mean that players from other clubs cannot attend.  This program is for all players and the program is an Indiana Soccer program.  We are just using the facilities of clubs that have offered to let us run a training session at their place.
