Player Registration
All player and team registrations must be submitted by the member club’s Registrar. Please contact your club for more information on the specific registration process for your club.
Early Club Commitment Provision
Most of us would agree that there must be a better way to address the stress created by the annual “tryouts” for our players and their families. The Early Club Commitment Provision allows players and families to opt out of the tryout process by recommitting to their existing club prior to the formal tryout period. There are some safeguards in the provision for players and families and we strongly recommend that you read the updated policy and don’t hesitate to ask for clarification should you have questions. Check with your club to see if they are taking advantage of this opportunity.
Team & Player Registration
All player and team registrations are submitted by the member club’s Registrar. Please contact your club for more information on the specific registration process for that club.
Indiana Soccer Registration Rules (Updated 6/24/2024)
The registration rules have been reformatted to remove duplicate information and antiquated procedures. There has only been one actual policy change since the 2023-2024 seasonal year:
Beginning with the 2024-2025 year, Clubs will be able to add up to 4 younger players who would normally be club passed “up” with an exception form to the older team roster where they will play. (playing across a game formation change – i.e. 7v7 to 9v9, 9v9 to 11v11)
In the past, Clubs were instructed to create “teams” the actual age of the players (even if that team only existed to hold the registration of younger players) and then Club Pass U12 players to U13, U10 players to U11, and U8 players to U9 using the exception forms. Club can now place those players directly on the older team (up to 4 players playing up 1 year) beginning the 2024-2025 seasonal year.
Clubs will still need to use the Player Exception form for any player playing up 2 years across a game format change. (I.E. U11 playing up to U13, U10 playing up to U12, etc.) The maximum number of players permitted to play up on any one team remains set at four (4).
