About Doug Diedrich
- Involved in soccer as a player and coach in the Evansville area for the past 40 years as a player at U of Evansville and as a club and High School Coach.
- Soccer coach at Castle High School where his overall record of 432-109-61 including both Boys and Girls teams.
- His team won eight sectional titles as well as five regional titles. The Knights were State runners-up in 1999 and State Champions in 2000. Coach Diedrich moved to the Girls program in 2012 where his teams won seven sectional and three regional championships. Between the Boys and Girls programs Doug’s teams won 12 Southern Indiana Athletic Conference Championships in 31 years.
- He was inducted into the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2018.

- Served as a club coach for Evansville United; Evansville SC; FC Evansville; etc.
