His acknowledgement of the need for professional soccer in Indianapolis aligns with the desire of the Indiana Soccer family. However, Mayor Hogsett, when he announced his desire for an MLS franchise overlooked one of Indiana Soccer’s prestigious family members, Ersal Ozdemir. It is impressive how fast Ersal made the site ready for construction. It is equally impressive how quickly most of the architectural work for the new stadium has been developed.
When completed the stadium will have a permanent seating capacity of 20,000+, Public Green Plaza, 600+ Residential Units, 197,000 sf Retail & Restaurant space, 205,000 sf Office, Hotels, Public Parking, 4000 Seat Music Venue & much more.

Ersal, one of the Indiana Soccer family’s champions, has demonstrated his commitment to bring a high-value, entertaining professional men’s, and women’s soccer experience to Indiana for the benefit of the entire Indiana Soccer family. His commitment to not only build a world-class stadium on a beautiful river-front site, but to also revitalize an area of our capital city that will generate envy from the other USL and MLS hosting cities is remarkable.
The Mayor of Indianapolis stood with Ersal at the groundbreaking of Eleven Park several months ago and needs to know that we expect him to continue to stand with and support Ersal’s decade-long investment for the benefit of our Soccer family.
