Dear Indiana Soccer Members,
Civic participation allows citizens to influence policy, local values, and government priorities. However, it often feels like everyday citizens are left out of the decision-making process. Over the coming weeks, the Indianapolis City-County Council will make critical decisions impacting the future of soccer in Indiana. These decisions will determine the fate of the Indy Eleven and its proposed Eleven Park stadium project, which aims to create a proper home for the World’s Game right here in the Hoosier State as part of a transformative downtown development.
These decisions will have a direct, long-lasting impact on the sport we love in our backyard. Indiana Soccer encourages our collective membership – players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and family members – to participate in this “civics lesson in action” and learn how local government decisions affect our communities.
Your Opportunity to Make a Difference: The next chance for public feedback to the City-County Council is during their public meeting on Monday, June 3. A pivotal vote regarding the funding mechanism for the Eleven Park project will take place. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak in front of the council in support of the club and the stadium project.

Since 2013, Indy Eleven’s holistic vision for soccer in Indiana has been instrumental in growing the sport and supporting our community. Indiana’s Team has become the longest-running men’s professional soccer team in the state’s history. Over the past five years, the club has expanded to include a women’s semi-professional team, and camps for children of all ages and abilities.
Indy Eleven has invested millions of dollars in building a successful soccer infrastructure and is committed to future endeavors, including establishing a professional women’s team in 2025 and managing the groundbreaking Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield. These efforts provide thousands of young players across Indiana the chance to develop their skills and grow toward professional ranks without leaving the state.
Don’t Miss This Chance! Be a part of the process and let your voice be heard! We look forward to seeing you on June 3rd and supporting Indy Eleven, Eleven Park, and the future of soccer in Indiana.
