The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

ODP Try Outs

How ODP Tryouts Work

The Indiana Olympic Development Program goals are to provide for the unfolding of ideas about the game of soccer, to provide the players confidence and ideas to solve problems the game presents them, and to provide opportunities for the gradual growth and advancement through challenging, creative, and positive training and playing environments.  You must be identified and invited to join the Indiana Olympic Development Program.
Players must be formally invited to participate in State Pool Training through the tryout process. Indiana ODP tryouts are open to any soccer player. Each player is fairly evaluated in the four components of the game (technical, tactical, psychological, and physical), their creativity and problem solving ability, their ability to contribute to the team, an individual's versatility as a player, and the ability to be competitive within the current State Pool.

To find out more about the State Pool, please visit our State Pool Members page.

Tryouts Registration Links & Additional Player Identification Methods

PLEASE  only sign up for one tryout date;  ODP tryouts are open and anyone can try out.  Phase 2 Registration Links will be available soon. Cost for a tryout is $75.

If you are in the Phase 1 state training pool, you will automatically move into Phase 2 and do NOT need to try out again. You will register on the State Pool Members page just like you have been doing. More info will be distributed the first week in November.

Note: if you have received an email from Joy Carter inviting you into the State Pool, you are on the wrong registration need to be on the State Pool page; please read any email from Joy carefully to determine your status

There are a few road closures around Grand Park.  Here are a couple of maps to assist you.  You can also follow the Detour signs.

Players may also be identified and invited directly into the State Pool in their respective age groups via the following ways:
Scouting Program
The Indiana Olympic Development Program Coaches go to tournaments to identify players and also watch league and high school games to identify players through direct participation with their club and high school teams. Players identified through the scouting program will be invited directly into the State Pool in their respective age group.

Recommendations from ODP State, Regional and National Coaches
Indiana ODP solicits recommendations from coaches around the state, region and nation who have seen players in their normal playing environments.  If a player is recommended directly to the Indiana Olympic Development Program the player will either be invited directly into the State Pool or will be asked to attend an Evaluation session (tryout) for further evaluation.
